Wardwizard registers 70 percent growth in September 2022
Wardwizard is eyeing a doubling of its existing production capacities to 2 lakhs at its factory in Gujarat and has targeted 4-6 lakh units a year with even an eye on the exports.
The Vadodra-based Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility has registered a 70 percent increase in its sales at 4,261 units of electric two-wheelers in September 2022 as compared to 2,500 units in September 2021, on the basis of the recent footprint expansion undertaken by the company
It plans to further increase its dealer network from 550 dealers to 1500 dealers and develop a pan-India presence by 2023, it said in a press release.
Wardwizard clocked the sales mark of 8,448 units in Q2 of FY23, translating into a growth of 55 percent over Q2 of FY'22, when the company had sold 5,446 units of electric two-wheelers.
The maker of Joy e bikes is gearing up to launch four high-speed electric bikes and foray into the electric three-wheeler segment, to up its presence in the domestic market, said Yatin Gupte, chairman and MD, WardWizard Innovations and Mobility.
Gupte said he was optimistic about the festive season to push sales " We are witnessing high demand for our products across all our touchpoints," he added.
