German carmaker expands its network in these two states to 24 sales showrooms and 13 service outlets and its all-India network now stands at 184 sales and 131 service outlets.

Volkswagen India targets demand in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, opens five new touchpoints

Volkswagen India has inaugurated five new touch-points in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, expanding its network in the two states to 24 sales and 13 service outlets. The new touchpoints are located in Banjara Hills, Secunderabad, Kukatpally, Kurnool, and Anantapur. With the latest facilities, the German carmaker’s  all-India network now stands at 184 sales and 131 service outlets.

Operated by Rajiv Sanghvi, Managing Director, PPS Motors, the newly inaugurated touchpoints are located in the high potential regions across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. With a strong team of over 250 people, the skilled and trained sales & service team will cater to the requirements of existing and prospective customers.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, "Customer- centricity is at the heart of everything we do at Volkswagen India and we believe the inauguration of these touchpoints will bring us closer to our customers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In FY2023, Volkswagen India sold a total of 41,326 cars and SUVs, which constituted a 30% year-on-year increase (FY2022: 31,883 units). In the first four months of the ongoing FY2024, the carmaker has sold 13,526 units, up 2% YoY (April-July 2022: 13,296 units). These comprise 6,661 units of the Virtus sedan (up 20%), 6,361 Taigun SUVs (down 4% YoY) and 504 Tiguan SUVs (up 38% YoY).
