UM Motorcycles rides into Chhattisgarh, opens its first dealership in Raipur

Spread over an approximate area of 2,500 sq ft, the dealership facility has a showroom integrated with an after-sales service facility.

UM Motorcycles - the Indian arm of the American motorcycle maker, UM International, LLC along with Lohia Auto has opened its eighth dealership in India in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

Called as ‘UM Raipur’, the new dealership is situated at Akash Automobiles, Ashtavinayak (V) Tower, Azad Chowk, GE Road, Raipur (CG). Spread over an approximate area of 2,500 sq ft, the dealership facility has a showroom integrated with an after-sales service facility.

Speaking at the inauguration, Rajeev Mishra, director, UML, said, “This showroom in Raipur marks our entry in Chhattisgarh, which has emerged as a very strong market in the Central region for cruiser bikes and is yet another milestone after the successful Indian launch of the UM Motorcycles. The dealership will house our flagship products like Renegade Commando and Renegade Sports S, first launched at the Auto Expo 2016.”

Also commenting on the occasion, Akash Shadija. director, Akash Automobiles, said, “The level of interest in the UM brand in Raipur has been very positive. Our investment in this new facility has already been rewarded by orders and deliveries which we have received prior to this opening.”
