TVS Sport crosses 2 million sales milestone, new variant launched
The Sport is one of the longstanding commuter motorcycles that banks on its fuel efficiency.
TVS Motor Company has launched the new TVS Sport Silver Alloy variant to mark the model crossing the sales milestone of 2 million units in India since launch. The silver alloy wheels will be available across two colour schemes – Black Silver and Volcano Red.
The TVS Sport Silver Alloy is powered by the Dura-Life 100cc engine that develops 5.5 KW of peak power at 7500rpm. It is equipped with the TVS-patented Econometer, with an Eco Mode and Power Mode, and delivers best-in-class mileage of 95 kilometres to a litre.
TVS sold a total of 916,811 motorcycles in FY2018, which gives it a market share of 7.27 percent, up from the 6.97 in FY2017.
