Mumbai-based used-car buying and selling platform, Truebil has launched a post-sales offer of Road Side Assistance (RSA), which it says customers can avail for a nominal cost.

Since January 2016,Truebil has offered used car buyers with comprehensive warranty services, which includes RSA services. But now, the brand has rolled out the feature separately for an increased convenience of its customers, which it says will benefit customers especially during the rainy season in monsoon-affected cities like Mumbai.

The company says that the issues ranging from mechanical and electrical to even being locked out or being stuck in a ditch, there are number of factors that can go wrong with a car, and calling service provider becomes an expensive affair. Moreover, breakdowns happening in an isolated area may also render the car owner stuck for hours, waiting for the service provider to turn up. The service may not even be up to the mark, while the price being paid may be comparatively a lot more, considering the urgency of such situations. Therefore, availing such out-of-pocket services may prove to be unviable for car owners, both financially and otherwise.

Truebil says its RSA feature addresses such scenario's, wherein it provides roadside assistance services to all its customers in such cases of breakdown or other issues. Essentially, when a customer buys a pre-owned car from Truebil, the brand provides them with 1-year roadside assistance. Valid for an entire year for a nominal charge of Rs 1,500, the RSA can be availed with a guaranteed turning up of the designated service provider within 1-hour post the service call.

A Truebil customer gets services like battery check-up and jump-start, minor mechanical and electrical checkups, wheel change, fuel arrangement and key lockout assistance, minor clutch and brake adjustments, on-road minor breakdowns, and towing assistance of up to 20kms (payable thereafter).

Moreover, in case of severe damage, the brand also assists its customers in claiming the insurance.  Upon availing for RSA, a customer can avail all these assistance services free-of-cost up to 5 times within a year.

Shubh Bansal, co-founder, Truebil said, “At Truebil, we value our customers’ convenience as our utmost priority. Our accountability does not end at the transaction, we ensure that all our customers’ concerns and issues are duly addressed even after the purchase has been made. Through our feature Road Side Assistance, we want to provide our customers with all our support when they face unpredictable vehicle breakdown issues. Considering the uncertainty of this season especially in cities like Mumbai, such readily-available and cost-effective assistance will be an immense help. We hope to continue proving our merit as a one-stop solution for all used car needs for our customers.”
