Trak N Tell showcased latest vehicular telematics solution

Gurgaon-based Internet of Things (IoT) company, Trak N Tell that provides sophisticated vehicle Telematics solutions, displayed a range of telematics solutions for Electric Vehicles (EVs) at the Auto Expo 2020. These devices and solutions help the operator to monitor the ‘State of Charge (SoC)’, tracking the vehicle through GPS, provides geo-fencing in case of theft or misuse, provides over-speeding alerts.

The EV market in India has gained significant momentum after the implementation of the FAME India scheme. The total EV sales are expected to grow at a CAGR of 36% till 2026. With respect to public charging infrastructure, the market is forecasted to grow at a CAGR of 60% till 2026. Gupta added that, “The government from time to time emphasises on the use of EVs and promotes cleaner vehicles in India. But, there is a need to create an integrated policy to nurture EV segment in the country. India has the potential to become one of the largest EV markets in the world and systematic approach towards creating an enabling eco-system for Electric Vehicles will ensure that India achieves progress on the electric mobility front.”

Trak N Tell also displayed their entire portfolio of connected infotainment, tracking and safety solutions at Auto Expo and has set up experience zones for both EV and connected infotainment product ranges. The unique range of infotainment and tracking device under the IntelliPlay brand.


Explaining the USP of the IntelliPlay brand, Gupta explained that “the device is a unique combination of entertainment, tracking and security technology which can be easily retrofitted in cars and fits seamlessly into a usual 2-DIN setup. It includes a touch screen with built-in 4G LTE connectivity, remote engine immobilization (in case of theft), two-way voice calling, wireless audio and video playback, Google maps-based navigation, reverse camera and dash-camera, which enables vehicle owners to see around their vehicle. The devices are currently available in the retail market under the brand name of IntelliPlay.”
