Toyota Kirloskar Motor announces management changes for 2020

N Raja, deputy MD (Sales & Marketing) to take charge as MD, Toyota Financial Services India; Raju B Ketkale appointed deputy MD (Manufacturing), TKM; Naveen Soni promoted to senior VP (Sales & Customer Service).

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced an organisation restructuring that will come into effect from January 1, 2020, as it continues to redesign the company operations under long-term perspectives.

Industry veteran N Raja, who has been with TKM for the past 7 years, will now play a larger role and assume the role of MD, Toyota Financial Services India (subject to board approval) of the company. N Raja is currently deputy managing director for the sales and marketing functions at TKM.

Raju B Ketkale will take on the role of deputy MD, covering manufacturing as a function. Ketkale, who has over two decades of automobile experience, was earlier the senior VP and director at TKM, handling Product Design & Development and Quality Assurance.

The OEM has also promoted Naveen Soni as the senior VP, Sales & Customer Service functions. Soni, who has been in the company for close to two decades, was previously VP, External Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility & Public Relations at TKM.

Alongside, Vikram Gulati who is the Country Head and VP, External Affairs in India, who has now been promoted as senior VP and will be taking charge of External Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Public Relations.

The company says the changes announced will boost the alignment of resources to achieve greater optimisation and improve efficiencies throughout operations. At the same time, such changes recognise the truly significant contributions of the senior leaders enriching the operational performances with their years of experiences and learnings moving on to newer heights.”
