Thai’s PSM spreads its wings in the Indian aftermarket

Thailand-based auto parts maker Prime Standard Manufacturing (PSM) is yet another example of the quick acceptance of auto parts makers from emerging countries in India.

The company manufactures automotive rubber parts and its portfolio includes suspension bushings, control arm bushings and engine mountings. It entered India in 2014 and within a year’s time, managed to capture business for 5,000 bushes per month in the Indian aftermarket, a top official of the company said.
According to Tanest Lertkajornkitti, general manager of PMS, currently the company has an aftermarket distributor in New Delhi and is looking to appoint three more distributors to meet growing demand here.

Now PSM has identified some potential distributors in ACMA Automechanika New Delhi, where the company showcased its products in the Thailand pavilion.

The company also exports its products to 10 countries including United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
