Tata Technologies appoints Ashutosh Vaidya as its new Chief Delivery Officer

Vaidya has rich experience as a global delivery and operations professional and was previously at Dell Services. Meanwhile, Samir Yajnik, president – Global Delivery & Chief Operating Officer-Asia Pacific, has resigned.

Vaidya has rich experience as a global delivery and operations professional and was previously at Dell Services. Meanwhile, Samir Yajnik, president – Global Delivery & Chief Operating Officer-Asia Pacific, has resigned.

Tata Technologies, a leading global provider of engineering services and manufacturing enterprise IT, today announced the appointment of Ashutosh Vaidya as its new Chief Delivery Officer. 

With a career spanning over three decades, Ashutosh Vaidya has rich experience as a global delivery and operations professional. In his earlier role, he was the Chief Delivery and Operations Officer at Dell Services. Prior to Dell Services, he was vice-president and global head – Wipro BPO. He is a graduate of the National Institute of Technology, Bhopal and holds a post-graduate management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is to take over as Chief Delivery Officer effective November 20, 2017.

Along with the new appointment announcement, Tata Technologies also stated that Samir Yajnik, President – Global Delivery & Chief Operating Officer-Asia Pacific, has resigned to pursue interests outside of the organisation. Having been an integral part of the Tata Technologies journey for close to two-and-a-half decades, Samir Yajnik has been instrumental in elevating the company to its current position.

Warren Harris, CEO and managing director, Tata Technologies, said, “I am delighted to welcome Ashutosh to Tata Technologies. He would play a very important role in our transformation journey ahead.”
