Tata Motors terminates services of its Corp Comm head
Ashmita Pillay, deputy GM – Corporate Communications, will hold the charge of Corporate Communications till the appointment of a head of the function.
Tata Motors, in a statement issued today, said that Suresh Rangarajan – Senior GM, Corporate Communications, has been discharged from the company’s services with immediate effect.
Following allegations on Rangarajan of harassment, the company’s Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) carried out an investigation and he was asked to proceed on leave early last month itself.
The company has said that Ashmita Pillay, deputy GM – Corporate Communications, will hold the charge of Corporate Communications till the appointment of a head of the function. In her new role, Ashmita will report to MD and CEO Guenter Butschek.
