Tata AutoComp to supply DC fast chargers for all types of EVs in India

Signs MoU with Tritium PTY of Australia, which has with installations in 26 countries, and holds 50% of the Norwegian market and 15% of the European market for 50kW fast chargers.

Tata AutoComp Systems, the well-diversified conglomerate which straddles the entire automotive value chain, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Australian DC charging infrastructure company Tritium Pty Ltd to supply DC fast chargers for electric vehicles (EVs) in India.

Tritium’s Veefil-RT DC Fast Chargers are capable of charging the full range of EVs – two- wheelers, passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles. Tata AutoComp says it will soon make available the DC fast chargers in India.

According to Arvind Goel, MD and CEO, Tata AutoComp Systems, “At Tata AutoComp, it is our endeavour to bring the latest technology and solutions to our customers. With the augment of EVs, the need for chargers capable of powering them is significant and we see a huge opportunity in this market.
