Tata, Amity in tie-up for degree in EV tech
The programme aims to enhance employees' technical skills in order to bridge skill gaps that prevail in the automotive industry and create a future-ready organisation.
Tata Motors has announced a partnership with Amity University’s Lucknow campus to offer employees at the Lucknow plant the opportunity to earn an M.Tech degree in electric vehicle technology.
The programme aims to enhance employees' technical skills in order to bridge skill gaps that prevail in the automotive industry and create a future-ready organisation.
Participants in the M-Tech program will complete comprehensive training that consists of theoretical and practical sessions to be conducted at Tata Motors facility and Amity University respectively. The course consists of 4 semesters, spread over 2 years, culminating in a 6 month industrial project. During practice sessions, the employees will be mentored and guided by industry leaders. A certificate will be awarded by Amity University upon successful completion of periodic assessments.

Prof. (Dr.) Sunil Dhaneshwar, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh Lucknow Campus added, “ This programme will help us develop a talent pool that would have an edge, equipped with advanced knowledge, and a narrowing skills gap.”
