Suzuki Motorcycle India has tied up with online marketplace Snapdeal for the sale of its vehicles. Customers will be able to browse Suzuki products on the Snapdeal Motors platform, select a vehicle, book it (via online payment of booking amount) and select a dealership in their vicinity from where the vehicle can be picked up. As an initial launch offer, buyers who purchase Suzuki vehicles on Snapdeal can avail 1-year free vehicle insurance.

According to Masayoshi Ito, managing director of Suzuki Motorcycles India, “A tie up with an online giant like Snapdeal was a logical choice for Suzuki as internet and e-commerce is starting to become a popular channel in India. We are sure that this collaboration will be profitable for Snapdeal, Suzuki and our customers.”

Commenting on the tie-up, Tony Navin, senior vice-president, Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives, Snapdeal, said, “We are excited about having Suzuki two-wheelers on our newly launched Snapdeal Motors platform. Our motors platform has been specifically designed to provide the most hassle-free auto loan application process to all our customers.
