Shriram Automall inks tie-up with Escorts for pre-owned tractor sales

Shriram Automall India Ltd (SAMIL), the 100 percent subsidiary of Shriram Transport Finance Company (STFC), has tied up with Escorts Ltd to assist its authorised dealers in the disposal of pre-owned tractors.

Shriram Automall India Ltd (SAMIL), the 100 percent subsidiary of Shriram Transport Finance Company (STFC), has tied up with Escorts Ltd to assist its authorised dealers in the disposal of pre-owned tractors.

“India, being an agricultural land, portrays great growth potential for the tractor industry. The current fiscal is expected to witness robust growth in infrastructure due to which tractors’ journey in India is likely to pick up pace. A tie-up with Escorts is structured on the ground of providing a completely organised and transparent platform through which they can carry out the disposal of their pre-owned tractors,” said Sameer Malhotra, CEO of SAMIL.

As per the pact, SAMIL can conduct exclusive bidding events at Escorts’ authorized dealers’ premises and facilitate disposal at its yards as well. It will also enable sales through its online bidding platform and private treaty negotiated deals.
