Schaeffler India posts Rs 94.5 crore EBT for Q2 CY2018
The company said the strong result was on the back of solid market performances in the infrastructure, railways, construction equipment, commercial vehicles and tractors, and its automotive and industrial businesses.
Schaeffler India has reported consolidated revenue of Rs 543.7 crore for Q2 CY2018, an increase of 14.5 percent YoY. The company said that on pro-forma basis, the six months (January-June 2018) consolidated revenue stood at Rs 2,248.7 crore, up 15.8 percent compared to same period last year.
The company reported EBT of Rs 94.5 crore for Q2 CY2018, up 12.9 percent with EBT margin was 17.4 percent.
Commenting on the results and financial performance of Schaeffler India, Dharmesh Arora, managing director, said, “We continue to witness all round growth in the second quarter of 2018 and have seen a double digit growth in line with our expectations. Buoyed by solid market performances in the infrastructure, railways, construction equipment, commercial vehicles and tractors, our automotive and industrial businesses delivered good performances. We expect the growth trajectory to continue in the short to medium term and maintain a stable performance.”
