Global automotive supplier, Schaeffler is expanding its range of thermal management modules under the INA brand. The component manufacturer is developing thermal management modules that are capable of controlling the coolant temperature in various cooling circuits enabling the engine to reach its optimum operating temperature more quickly and comply with the increased engine cooling requirements for start-stop systems and hybrids.
Schaeffler's second generation thermal management module is based on rotary slide valves that control the coolant flow depending on the driving situation. The concept features two independent rotary slide valves which would significantly improve vehicle functionality. This new repair solutions cover a car park of more than two million vehicles
