Royal Enfield sells 120 limited Anniversary Edition 650 Twins in 2 minutes

Royal Enfield has announced very speedy sales of  120 units of its limited edition  anniversary 650 Twins. The 120 units took all of 120 seconds or two minutes to be snapped up by buyers yesterday, 

A collector’s  edition,  launched  in  celebration  of  Royal  Enfield’s  rich  and  storied  legacy,  the  60 Interceptor INT 650s and 60 Continental GT 650s celarly have garnered an overwhelming response from motorcycling enthusiasts across the country.

A total of 120 anniversary edition motorcycles- 60 each of the Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650- were available for customers on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The sale opened at 7:00 pm IST on December 6 and all the bikes were sold within the record time on  
www.royalenfield.com/120thedition. The entire package included the anniversary edition motorcycles along with a special blacked out Royal Enfield Genuine Motorcycling Accessories kits as well as an extended warranty for the 4th and 5th year over and above the 3 year OEM warranty. The limited edition motorcycles will also be available for customers in South-East Asia, Americas and European markets soon.

The bikes will be available in a limited production run of only 480 units, distributed as 120 units each for India (now sold out), Europe, Americas and South-East Asia. While there are no mechanical differences, the bikes feature a black-chrome colour scheme and handcrafted brass tank badges that represent the brand’s 120 year journey.

Other changes include completely blacked-out components, with the engine, silencer and other elements finished in black.
