Royal Enfield’s November sales ride past 40,000 mark

Royal Enfield posted sales of 40,312 units in domestic wholesale in November 2015, recording a growth of 48% over the same period last year.

Royal Enfield’s November sales ride past 40,000 mark

Continuing its strong sales momentum and performance in 2015, Royal Enfield posted sales of 40,312 units in domestic wholesale in November 2015, recording a growth of 48% over the same period last year (November 2014: 27,198).

The bike manufacturer has since long been seeing high demand for several of its products.

Meanwhile, the company has announced its entry and future plans for the Thai market at the Thailand International Motor Expo 2015, as a  part of its global growth strategy. Thailand is among the largest two-wheeler markets in the world with a large commuter base, Thailand has enormous potential to upgrade to the next level of motorcycles.

To strengthen and expand its network and footprint across Thailand, Royal Enfield also announced its first authorised dealer in Thailand, General Auto Supply Co Ltd. Retail operations will begin at Thonglor in Bangkok in the coming months, from its first exclusive dealership in Bangkok being set up in partnership with General Auto Supply (GA). In addition to the store, GA will also build service and aftermarket capability for Royal Enfield in the region.
