Revolt Motors guns for sales in Andhra Pradesh, opens first retail store in Vizag

Looks to further strengthen its retail presence by entering 60 new cities in India including Kolkata, Chandigarh, Lucknow and NCR by early 2022.

Revolt Motors, the electric motorcycle manufacturer, has opened its first retail store in Vizag. This marks its first store in the state of Andhra Pradesh and its 15th retail store across the country.

In an effort to tap growing demand for its products, the company plans to expand its sales network and strengthen its retail presence by entering 60 new cities in India including Kolkata, Chandigarh, Lucknow and NCR by early 2022. Last month, Revolt Motors opened retail stores in Bengaluru, Jaipur and Surat and announced opening pf bookings for the RV400 across 70 cities and customers.

All the new stores will be set up by retail partners across the key cities. The new centres will not only act as sales points but also give customers an opportunity to experience the e-bike and go through the design, the charging process and how the installation of the charging points take place. Customers can also get a sense of their riding patterns after the test ride.

Revolt Motors is currently operational in Bengaluru, Jaipur, Surat, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.

The RV400 comes with a 3KW (Mid Drive) motor, powered by a 72V, 3.24KWh Lithium-Ion battery that develops a top speed of 85kph. The MyRevolt App offers connectivity features such as bike locator/Geo fencing, customised sounds, complete bike diagnostics, battery status, historical data on rides and mileage, and also the option of locating the nearest Revolt Switch Station to swap the battery.

The RV400 features three riding modes – Eco, Normal and Sport – each suiting to the riding style and needs of the driver. Also, comes with Upside Down (USD) forks up-front and a fully-adjustable mono shock at the rear.
