Renault India launches 2022 Kwid at Rs 449,000

Renault India has launched the all-new Kwid model year 2022 at prices starting Rs 449,000. The Kwid was first launched in 2015  and has been amongst the top sellers for the carmaker in India.

The Kwid is available in both 0.8L and 1.0L SCe engine with manual and automatic transmission options. It gets new Interior and exterior colours with white accents in the Climber range. Two new colour options have been introduced – Metal Mustard and Ice cool White with Black roof in Dual Tone, along with new dual tone flex wheels. The company has also introduced new RXL(O) variant on both 0.8L and 1.0L MT powertrains.

In terms of safety features, the Kwid gets dual front Airbags, ABS and EBD, Seat Belt Reminder, Overspeed Alert, Reverse Parking Sensors and Driver side Pyro and Pre-tensioner with Load Limiter as standard. On the inside, the Kwid gets a 8-inch touchscreen MediaNAV Evolution infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Video Playback and Voice Recognition.

It also gets first-in-class reverse parking camera with guidelines along with electrically adjustable ORVM. The 0.8-litre engine claims a fuel efficiency of 22.25km per litre (as per ARAI Testing Certification).

The OEM is offering a comprehensive warranty for 2 year/50,000km (whichever is earlier) with an extension option upto 5 years and an Easy Care package to take care of maintenance needs. The customers will also get 24x7 RSA in addition with the warranty.

Renault India is also focussing on expanding its network and has added more than 150 facilities in the last two years. At present, the company has 530 sales and more than 530 service touchpoints, which includes more than 250 Workshop On Wheels (WOW) and WOWLite locations across the country.
