Piaggio reopens Vespa and Aprilia dealerships across India

Piaggio Vehicles, which manufactures the Vespa and Aprilia range of scooters and motorcycles has announced the reopening of its dealerships across India following the lockdown opening guidelines from authorities.

The company says it has ensured a high level of Covid-19-preventive protocol at its dealerships including specific guidelines such as contactless greetings, use of hand sanitisers and maintaining social distancing. While customers can visit dealerships as per local government lockdown guidelines, online bookings can be carried out on the company’s ecommerce platform at  https://shop.vespaindia.com and https://shop.apriliaindia.com. Piaggio is also facilitating home deliveries of two-wheelers.

Diego Graffi, Chairman and MD of Piaggio India said, “We have been working together with our dealers in navigating through the second wave of Covid 19. Also, we have announced extension of original equipment warranty and free service that expires during the lockdown period. Now, our dealerships have geared up to address all vehicle sales and service requirements with utmost precaution as per lockdown opening guidelines”.

Our product and brands would empower people to follow independent lifestyle and can facilitate in their aim of taking due care during these times regaining their life normalcy” 

Piaggio has a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant at Baramati in Maharashtra, with an installed annual production capacity of over 300,000 three-wheelers and 80,000 four-wheelers. It is also self-reliant in some of the engine categories with the completion of its advanced engines plant on the same campus
