Petrol prices down by 70 paise a litre
Effective today morning, petrol prices have been reduced by 70 paise a litre (excluding state levies).
Effective today morning, petrol prices have been reduced by 70 paise a litre (excluding state levies). This is mainly due to the continued appreciation of the rupee versus the dollar. The last price revision was on April 1, when the price of the fuel was dropped by 75 paise a litre.
With this the prices of petrol stand revised at Rs 71.41 in Delhi, Rs 80 in Mumbai, Rs 79.26 in Kolkata and Rs 74.60 in Chennai.
Meanwhile, in a statement, IndianOil Corporation has said that under-recovery on diesel fuel at present is Rs 5.49 per litre.
