Nissan reopens service centres in Chennai
Nissan dealers are operating mobile vans to attend to customers at their residences; service camp to be organised soon.
Nissan has resumed operations at all its service centres across Chennai, after a shutdown due to the excessive rains and floods that wreaked havoc in the city. The carmaker's workshops have reopened to help Chennai-based customers and to speed up the repair work of vehicles damaged in the floods. In addition to this, dealers are operating mobile vans to attend to customers at their residences.
In a company statement issued, Nissan states that it has given top priority to parts supply for Chennai dealers. The company has provided additional space and technicians to the dealers for speedy turnout of vehicles.The statement also added that the carmaker has plans to organise a service camp in Chennai which will cover the thorough check-up of all vehicles with additional discounts on Nissan Genuine Accessories.
Making the announcement, Arun Malhotra, managing director, Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd said, “At Nissan, we are aware of the difficulties faced by people in Chennai due to unprecedented rains. We are taking all possible steps to reach out to our customers, employees and partners, and support them in getting back to their normal life and routine.”
Nissan has also announed a special toll-free helpline number 0124-6628111 for its customers in Chennai.
