Motherson Sumi Systems’ Q3 net profit up 34% to Rs 416 crore

MSSL has reported its highest ever quarterly revenue of Rs 10,514 crore (+13%), and best ever quarterly net profit of Rs 416 crore (+34%), for the third quarter of 2016-2017 which ended on December 31, 2016.

Motherson Sumi Systems, the largest automotive component supplier in India, has reported its highest ever quarterly revenue of Rs 10,514 crore, up by 13%, and best ever quarterly net profit of Rs 416 crore, up by 34%, for the third quarter of 2016-2017 which ended on December 31, 2016.

Other highlights of Q3 are that the company’s revenues outside India are up by 12%, revenues in India are up by 24%, PAT is up by 34%, and EBITDA up by 23%. Globally, nine plants are at different stages of completion.

 “The company has shown exemplary growth in all areas and has achieved highest ever revenues and margins in a quarter. This is the reflection of hard work put in by all our teams from around the world,” said Vivek Chaand Sehgal, MSSL’s chairman.
