Milacron launches innovative machines at PlastIndia

At the PlastIndia 2015 exhibition held at Gandhinagar in Gujarat earlier this month, global supplier of plastics-processing technologies and equipment Milacron unveiled some innovative products from across its integrated brand portfolio. The display included cutting-edge plastics processing technology from brands including Ferromatik Milacron India, Mold-Masters and DME.

The company is expanding its processing expertise with the Special PET IMM, combining speed and flexibility aimed at increasing production in the growing PET preform market.

“Milacron has come-up with solutions through different manufacturing technologies,” said Ron Krisanda, COO, Milacron. "We have addressed almost all areas where plastics is in demand and shown injection moulding, blow moulding and extruder at one place.”

Some of the products showcased included:

Special PET Injection Moulding Machine: This new high-speed preform system with post-cooling arrangement enables reduction of cycle time. Unlike preform free fall arrangement, the robot attached to the system enhances the quality of the perform manufacturing.

Extrusion System- Conical Twin Screw (TC 80): To cater to manufacture of pipes and profiles, Milacron has introduced the extrusion system based on twin screw technology.
