Targeted towards urban dwellers, the GLC comes equipped with an Instrument cluster that is now fully digital.

Luxury car market leader Mercedes-Benz India today launched the 2021 GLC with ‘Mercedes me connect’ technology along with a host of additional features. The GLC 200 is priced at Rs 57.40 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and the GLC 220d 4M is Rs 63.15 lakh  (ex-showroom, India).

The fully loaded 2021 GLC boasts several feature enhancements like front seats with massage function, integrated Alexa Home, Google Home and parking locations on navigation system and App. The Parking Package with 360-degree camera for additional safety and offers all-round visibility to the driver.

Targeted at urban buyers, the GLC will be available in both GLC 200 and GLC 220d variants and combines on- and  off-road driving characteristics like spaciousness, practicality and comfort.

The  2021 GLC comes in two new colour options – Brilliant Blue and High Tech Silver – and is equipped with remote engine start that adds to the convenience of starting the car remotely for pre entry air-conditioning before the start of journey.

Mercedes-Benz India has sold more than 8,400 units of  the GLC since its introduction in the country. 

The luxury car market leader reported sales of 7,893 cars in CY2020 (-42.74%), a year which was largely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and resultant lockdowns across the country. 

The launch of the 2021 GLC is part of the carmaker's 15-model launch programme this year including a few facelifts. It also plans an additional investment of about Rs 400 crore towards further localisation of its production.
