Maxxis India conducts first dealers meet in Gujarat

Maxxis India, part of the Maxxis Group, which is one of the largest two-wheeler tyre manufacturer and the ninth largest tyre company in the world, today conducted its first dealers’ meet in Rajkot, Gujarat.

The company states that around 52 dealers attended the event and were briefed about Maxxis' tyre range, which it says are designed for diverse Indian applications and industry-best warranty policy and transparent claim resolution process.

Bing-Lin Wu, retail sales head, Maxxis India, said, “At Maxxis, we believe that distributors and dealers are our brand partners in growth. We have added 188 dealers in Gujarat in a short span of six months as Gujarat being a key two-wheeler market plays a pivotal role in our plan to expand our partner network to over 1,000 dealers across India by the end of 2018. We are confident that with the support and commitment from our dealer partners, Maxxis will soon become one of the leading tyre brands in India.”

Po-Yu (Jeremy) Hsu, assistant vice president, Service, Maxxis India said, “Maxxis has set high standards in providing benchmarked product quality and customer service, globally. Customer focus remains a key driver for all our initiatives and we are committed to delivering to our customers in India the same world-class products and services that they expect and deserve. Today’s meet gives us a great platform to communicate Maxxis’s highest service quality to our dealer partners.”

The dealers were introduced to the latest product and solution offered by Maxxis, including the 5+1 unconditional warranty with Maxxis 2-wheeler tyres. This unconditional warranty is a no-questions-asked offer that applies to all unserviceable and unrepairable tyres. The dealers were also apprised of various dealer incentive programs and schemes. Maxxis India which inaugurated its first Indian manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat, earlier this year is targeting to capture a market share of at least 15 percent of India’s two-wheeler tyre market within 5 years.

The company states that the Indian market is touted to play a vital role in achieving its global vision to become one of the top 5 tyre manufactures in the world by 2026. The company has plans to set up five more plants in India which will also cater to the passenger vehicle tyres market.
