Maruti Suzuki’s Future S compact SUV concept to be unveiled at Auto Expo 2018   

Riding high on consumer demand for its game-changing Vitara Brezza, Maruti Suzuki India is setting its sights high on the compact SUV market.

The country’s largest carmaker today released a teaser image of a compact SUV, called Concept Future S. The concept is to have a global premiere at the Delhi Auto Expo which takes place early next month.

The concept SUV, which bears a bold and upright front with unique A-pillar treatment, has taut powerful shoulders and a raised rear volume.

Commenting on the Concept Future S, CV Raman, senior executive director (Engineering), Maruti Suzuki India, said, “The increasing preference for UVs and their bold architecture inspired our design team to study a new character for compact cars. Concept Future S could mark a distinctive shift in how compact cars are shaped and designed in India in the future.”
