Maruti Eeco turns 15, sells over 1.2 million units since launch
The Maruti Eeco is available in 13 different variants, including 5-seater, 7-seater, cargo, tour, and ambulance configurations. The Eeco CNG currently contributes to 43% of its sales.
The Maruti Eeco van has turned 15 years old. Launched in 2010, the Eeco continue to see demand in the Indian marketplace, both among large families and business operators.

The Maruti Eeco is available in 13 different variants, including 5-seater, 7-seater, cargo, tour, and ambulance configurations. The Eeco is powered by a 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT petrol engine, accounting for 57% of its sales. Maruti Suzuki also the offers Eeco with its S-CNG technology which contributes to 43% of its overall sales, reflecting the increasing preference for eco-friendly fuel options.
On the safety front, the Eeco is equipped with a driver airbag, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, seatbelt reminders for both the driver and co-driver, and a high-speed alert system.
In FY2024, the Maruti Eeco sold a total of 137,139 units, up 4.50% YoY. In the first nine months of FY2025, the van has sold 102,520 units, up 1.55% YoY (April-December 2023: 100,954 units).
