Mahindra tractor-sprayers to power Mumbai's sanitation drive

The tractors are equipped with computer balanced sprayers that ensure uniform high-volume air output for efficient chemical penetration.

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, the automotive industry in India and overseas has come out in full force to assist governments in combating the problem. Mumbai-headquartered Mahindra & Mahindra, is utilising its group strengths by deploying resources and expertises wherever possible. On March 30, it began manufacturing face shields at its Kandivali manufacturing plant in Mumbai.

In a recent update on social media, Rajesh Jejurikar, executive director (Auto and Farm sector), Mahindra Board, shared information that the company has provided tractors to Municipal Corporations to the state of Maharashtra, for sanitation purposes.
