Mahindra sells 19,280 tractors in February 2018, 39%

Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector (FES) in February 2018, sold 19,280 units, an increase of 39 percent YoY, on the back of pick-up in the agriculture sector.

Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector (FES) in February 2018, sold 19,280 units, an increase of 39 percent YoY, on the back of pick-up in the agriculture sector.

The company sold a cumulative of 20,483 units an increase of 36 percent, exports came in at 1,203 units (+3%).

Commenting on the performance, Rajesh Jejurikar, president, Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra said, “We have sold 19,280 tractors during February 2018 with a growth of 39 percent over last year.  With the announcement of record horticulture production and increased Union budget allocations to rural and agriculture sector, we expect the growth momentum to continue in the coming months.  In the exports market, we have sold 1,203 tractors during the month.”
