Mahindra launches Jeeto CNG at Rs 3.49 lakh
Eco-friendly mini-truck claimed to deliver mileage of 33.2 km/kg with best-in-class payload of 700kg.
Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the CNG variant of its Jeeto mini-truck. Priced at Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the eco-friendly Jeeto CNG variant aims to promote eco-friendly last-mile transportation of goods. The CNG variant is available on the top-end Jeeto X716 model.
The Jeeto CNG is powered by an advanced engine that delivers 11.9 kW (16hp) and torque of 38 Nm at 1200-2000rpm. M&M claims the vehicle offers superior pick-up, acceleration and gradeability, allowing the Jeeto CNG to carry heavy loads even up the steepest of slopes.
The Jeeto CNG, which is claimed to deliver mileage of 33.2 km/kg with best-in-class payload of 700kg, comes with a warranty of 2 years/40,000km (whichever is earlier).

Launched in June 2015, the Jeeto is the first product in its category with a modular range of eight mini-trucks to cater to the varied needs of sub-1-tonne load segment customers. The diesel variant is available in S, L and X series and caters to three-wheeler, micro-truck and mini-truck customers. M&M claims the diesel-engined Jeeto delivers fuel efficiency of up to 37.6 kilometres a litre.
