Aditya Thackeray, Minister of Environment and Tourism with Sulajja Firodia Motwani and some Kinetic Green electric three-wheelers

Aaditya Thackeray, Minister of Tourism and Environment for the Government of Maharashtra, today made a plant visit at EV manufacturer Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions. The minister is known to be a champion of green initiatives and the driving force behind the new Maharashtra EV Policy, which is high on incentives for both EV buyers as well as manufacturing industry.

Kinetic Green currently produces a range of EVs including electric three-wheelers for passenger as well as cargo applications, electric two-wheelers and electric smart carts including golf cars and buggies for tourism. The company has a robust in-house government approved R&D center and focusses on design and development of durable yet affordable range of EVs with a vision to bring this technology and its benefits within the reach of common man.

Commenting on the environment minister’s visit, Ms. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, founder and CEO, Kinetic Green said: “It was a pleasure to host the Minister of Tourism and Environment Aaditya Thackerayji, at Kinetic Green today. We, at Kinetic Green, are committed to promoting electric vehicle technology as well as skill development in Maharashtra. We thank him for his leadership in bringing a very progressive electric vehicle policy for Maharashtra which is comprehensive and timely. Kinetic Green plans to invest Rs 300 crore in electric three- and two-wheelers as well as golf cark model development and capacity expansion in Maharashtra, at our EV manufacturing facilities in Ahmednagar and Pune districts over the next few years.”
