Lumax appoints Vikas Marwah as EVP and chief strategy officer 

Marwah will report to CEO Vineet Sahni and will be responsible for business growth for existing and addition of new product lines and new JVs besides other strategic initiatives.

Lumax of the D K Jain Group has appointed Vikas Marwah as executive vice-president and chief strategy officer in Lumax Management Services. He will report to Vineet Sahni, CEO and senior executive director and will be responsible for business growth for existing and addition of new product lines and new joint ventures besides other strategic initiatives for the group.

Marwah has nearly 30 years of work experience. A management graduate in marketing from the Centre for Management Development, he has a proven track record in organic business growth, strategic planning, P&L management, change management, commercial and external support and strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining Lumax, he was chief marketing officer with Varroc Engineering and Sona Koyo Steering Systems.

Lumax, DK Jain Group, a leading player in the Indian automotive industry, manufactures and supplies a wide range of automotive solutions (end-to-end lighting, two-wheeler chassis, integrated plastic modules, gear shift lever, intake systems, seat frames and mechanisms).

The group has 9 partnerships with leading companies in the global automotive industry, 14 entities and 27 plants spread across 7 states in India.
