KTM launches new BS IV-compliant RC 390, RC 200 in India

Bajaj Auto’s aggressive sales plan for the KTM brand in India will see it expand the existing 325-strong dealer network to 450 by March 2018.

Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new KTM RC range comprising of the RC 390 and the RC 200. While the KTM RC 390 is priced at Rs 225,300, the KTM RC 200 bears a price sticker of Rs 171,340 (both prices ex-showroom Delhi). Bookings have commenced today.

As with all KTMs, the RC range is also race-ready with the KTM RC 390 (pictured above) boasting of premium features like the ride-by-wire, slipper clutch and ABS. The RC 200 (below) comes with class-leading features like aluminum swingarm, trellis frame and upside-down suspension. Both the RC 390 and RC 200 possess class-leading power of 43.5 PS and 25 PS respectively and sport new racing graphics for 2017. Both models are also compliant with BS IV norms, which are mandatory for all Indian two-wheelers from April 1, 2017.

Launched in 2012, KTM has gone on to become the fastest growing sports motorcycle brand with over 100,000 motorcycles on Indian roads. What has helped drive growth is the large network of 325 exclusive KTM showrooms, slated to be expanded to 450 in by March 2018.
