Kia India sells 8,538 units in March, total Seltos sales cross 80,000 mark

Kia Motors India has reported sales of 8,583 units, comprising 7,466 Seltos SUVs and 1,117 Carnival MPVs, in March 2020. Since its launch in August 2019, the Seltos has notched total sales of 81,784 units till now, averaging monthly sales of 10,223 units.

This means Kia Motors India has sold a total of 84,453 units in FY2020, since the Korean brand launched its products in August last year. 

The Korean carmaker says due to the Covid 19 pandemic and countrywide lockdown, Kia Motors India had stopped its wholesale billings on March 16 2020, avoiding unsold inventory at its dealerships. Counting on the booking numbers of Kia cars, the company is expecting a positive sentiment in buyers for Seltos and Carnival after the lockdown period.
