JK Tyre opens its second dealership in Bhutan
The new Centre is spread over an area of 800 square feet, and will be equipped with the latest technology and wheel servicing equipment.
Indian tyre maker JK Tyres today inaugurated its second sales and services centre in Thimpu, Bhutan. The domestic tyre maker has a retail network of over 200 centres across India.
JK Tyre Steel Wheels centre act as a single point contact for tyre sales and service solutions for its customers. The new Centre is spread over an area of 800 square feet, and will be equipped with the latest technology and wheel servicing equipment.
JK Tyre’s new centre in the neighbouring country will play a important role for its customers as proper tyre care like alignment and balancing are of paramount importance in the mountainous terrain. It will also make available various value added services, including computerised wheel alignment and balancing, automated tyre changing and rotation, nitrogen inflation and air care to complete a 360-degree experience for the customer.
Commenting on the new centre, Vikram Malhotra, MD, JK Tyre & Industries, said, “Our tyres like UX Royale and Ranger are best suited for rough and rocky terrains. The decision to open this centre in the capital city of Bhutan was taken after due consideration of the economic and business relations between the two countries. It is in keeping with the Government’s Look East policy of opening our roads and corridors to our Eastern neighbours.”
Also present at the inauguration, Sonam Yanki, Yangkyed Trading of Bhutan, said, “This is what we would like to call the proverbial ‘beginning of a great friendship’ between two neighbours. With the new centre, we aim to cater to consumers’ demand by borrowing from the best practices at JK Tyre and enhancing service quality. We are also positive the new Centre will be a success owing to the increasing industrial activity and plying of vehicles in in the region.”
