JCB India's Vipin Sondhi to join Hinduja Group's leadership team
Sondhi will focus on consolidation, growth and future strategy for the company's global automotive business.
The Hinduja Group today announced that it has decided to induct Vipin Sondhi to its leadership team. In addition to other responsibilities, Sondhi will focus on consolidation, growth and future strategy of Hinduja Group’s global automotive portfolio.
At present Sondhi is the managing director and CEO for JCB - India, South East Asia and Pacific, and a member of its global executive leadership team. He is credited with transforming JCB’s India portfolio to leadership position by bringing in with global standards of design, quality and manufacturing.
Commenting on the new role, Sondhi said: "After an enriching period of over 13 years at JCB India, I look forward to moving on to my next challenge. I am looking forward to working with the illustrious Hinduja Group as a member of their global leadership team, helping them with global automotive portfolio of which Ashok Leyland is a significant member. I am happy that JCB India is a vibrant organisation, with capable leadership to succeed me.”
Vipin Sondhi will join the Hinduja Group by December 2019. The company believes his addition to the leadership team will add significant strategic depth to its global automotive portfolio.
