Jaguar launches made-in-India XF at Rs 47.50 lakh

The new Jaguar XF is powered by a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine which develops 132 kW and a 2.0-litre that produces 177 kW.

Jaguar Land Rover India has commenced local manufacturing of the all-new Jaguar XF at its Pune plant. Pricing for the executive sedan starts from Rs 47.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The new Jaguar XF is powered by a 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine which develops 132 kW and a 2.0-litre that produces 177 kW. It also comes with a slew of advanced technology features including InControl Touch Pro with the all-new 25.9cm touchscreen infotainment system and a Meridian Sound System.

Commenting on the launch, Rohit Suri, managing director and president, Jaguar Land Rover India, said: “Since its introduction in 2009, the Jaguar XF has gained immense popularity and success in the country. The introduction of the all-new XF into our locally manufactured portfolio reiterates our commitment to the Indian market.”

The Jaguar range in India now comprises the F–Type (starting at Rs 1.25 crore in CBU form), locally manufactured XJ (starting at Rs 99.99 lakh), F-Pace (starting at Rs 68.40 lakh), locally manufactured XF (starting at Rs 47.50 lakh) and the locally manufactured XE (starting at Rs 39.90 lakh).

The company has a 24-dealer network in India with authorised outlets in Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kochi, Karnal, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Raipur and Noida.
