As part of the company's strategy to reduce BS IV stock and have a lean inventory for its dealers, Isuzu Motors India has announced an extended warranty scheme on its mu-X SUV range.

Isuzu Motors India says that it will offer a 8-year/200,000km warranty on mu-X powertrain in addition to the 5-year comprehensive warranty and free periodic maintenance for 150,000km (whichever occurs earlier) on its BS IV-range of mu-X SUV till December 31, 2019.

The company says the extended transferrable-warranty will be available at no additional cost to the buyer.
