ISIE India, SMEV, SCGJ and VIT Vellore's conference held on future mobility
The discussion of the symposium was e-mobility, future of renewable energy resources, skills, knowledge and employability.
The Imperial Society of Innovation Engineers (ISIE) India, in association with the Society of Manufacturers of Electric Vehicle (SMEV), the Skill Council for Green Jobs (SCGJ) and VIT Vellore held the first conference in the south section. The 2nd Annual Expert Talk 2018 was held at VIT Vellore on October 6, 2018, which saw discussions on the future trend of mobility.
The discussion was centred around e-mobility, future of renewable energy resources, skills, knowledge and employability. The full-day event saw experts interacting and discussing the future trends, and saw participation from over 500 engineering students and faculty members from across the country. The expert talk session brought together industry professionals to share their perspectives and ideas focussed on renewable energy and innovation among other range of awareness for the youth and society, which would lead the students towards faster learning, inspire towards e-mobility, renewable energy resources and employability.
The chief guest at the event was Venugopal Rao Nellutla, vice-president, Trinity Cleantech. Among other dignitaries were -- Dr Nanda Kumar C S, expert - hybrid and electric vehicle system, Bosch; J Munirathnam, chairman - Aerospace, SAEIndia; Vijay Kumar V, divisional manager - electric and hybrid vehicle technology, Ashok Leyland; Karthik Sathianathan, product manager, Ampere Vehicles; Kartik Arun, CEO India, Renewable Energy System Australia; Suroju Ramakrishnan, Manager - R&D, Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi and Amit Panday, assistant editor, Autocar Professional.
