Hyundai’s June sales up 15 percent over May 2022

Its June exports tally was down 4 percent as compared to June 2021

Hyundai Motor India, India’s second largest OEM by sales registered domestic sales of 49 001 units and export sales of 13 350 units with cumulative sales for the month of 62 351 units. The year-earlier month’s exports tally was 13,978 units.

Its May 2022 sales in the domestic market were 42,293 units so sequentially, so June sales are up by 15 percent  The Korean company sold 40,496 units in June 2021.  Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India said, “With the semi-conductor situation showing signs of easing out, the sales number have again started showing a positive trend. Further, the newly-launched Hyundai Venue has  been receiving tremendous customer response.”
