Hyundai’s domestic sales up 5.6 percent in August

Exports  for August 2022 were 4 percent more than in the year-earlier month.

The recently-launched Tucson has received a good response

Hyundai Motor India recorded domestic wholesales of 49510 units and export sales of 12 700 units totalling 62, 210 units for August 2022, as against 59,068 in the year-earlier month, an increase of 5.3 percent.

Domestic sales rose 5.6 percent from 46,866 units in the year-earlier month, the company said.

Exports  for August 2022 were 4 percent more than in the year-earlier month. The company’s July sales crossed the 50,000 mark at 50,500 units sold.

Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India, “With the continuously improving semi- conductor situation, supplies continue to go up enabling us to serve our beloved customers with their car in the festival season that has kicked off in India.”
