Hyundai Motor India provides rehabilitation at villages of Sriperumbudur
A complete set of utensils and a comprehensive package of groceries including toiletries were handed over to the residents of the villages.
Hyundai Motor India foundation (HMIF), the CSR arm of Hyundai motor India, today completed the final leg of distribution of relief materials to the flood affected villages of Sriperumbudur. A complete set of utensils and a comprehensive package of groceries including toiletries were handed over to the residents of the villages of Vengadu, Nemily, Perinjampakkam, Ottankaranai and Thathanur, which are located in the interiors of the Sriprumbudur.
The last three villages also received blankets, clothing for entire family, 20 litre water cans & mats, which were distributed in Vengadu and Nemily earlier this week. The top management of HMIL along with employee volunteers and UUHE members handed over the items to the 1,000 families. Volunteers also segregated and packed the materials which arrived in 10 trucks.
HMIF will also begin sanitation drive in these villages from today. Cleaning the entire village with tractors, mosquito fogging, spraying bleaching powder and cleaning water bodies are some of the activities planned by the company.
