Honda recalls made-in February Activa 125, 6G and Dio to inspect rear cushion
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today announced a voluntary recall for three of its scooter models -- the Dio, Activa 125 and 6G -- manufactured between February 14-25, 2020. The company however has not specified the number of units impacted in this recall.
Honda says it has identified a suspected quality issue in the rear cushion which may result in oil leakage or breakage and may lead to vehicle imbalance.
The recall campaign will start in mid-March 2020, as a precautionary measure, to check and replace the suspected part (rear cushion). The concerned part if in the defective lot, will be replaced free of cost irrespective of warranty status of the identified vehicle.
