Honda launches 2018 X-Blade with ABS at Rs 87,776
The 160cc segment premium commuter comes with a single channel ABS.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India launched its 160cc sporty X-Blade with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) today at the Delhi leg finale of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League 2018. Honda X-Blade (ABS) will be priced at Rs. 87,776 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The new X-Blade comes with under cowl, front forks cover along with wheel rim stripes as standard fitment.
Commenting on the launch, Minoru Kato, president & CEO - Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India “Strengthening our position in 150-180cc motorcycle segment, the X-Blade defines advanced styling and superior technology for the young enthusiast. We are determined to transform the way India rides on 2Wheels with new innovative products and advanced technology.”
Speaking on the occasion, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, senior vice president - sales and marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, said, “The X-Blade now comes equipped with ABS which will enhance rider’s confidence. Sporty style is at the core of new X-Blade and appreciating the ethos of sports, Honda is also presenting the X-Blade to the most stylish player in each city leg of the Vivo Pro Kabaddi league 2018.”
The engine remains the same with a 160cc single cylinder air cooled engine that produces 13.93 bhp at 8,500 rpm and peak torque of 13.9 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Honda claims that the engine has been specifically designed to deliver good low and mid-range performance. The X-Blade is available in 5 colours – Matte Marvel Blue Metallic / Matte Frozen Silver Metallic / Pearl Spartan Red / Pearl Igneous Black and Matte Marshal Green Metallic.
