Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has announced the overview of its line-up at the upcoming 13th Auto Expo 2016. The company is set to showcase 10 new models, including six Indian launches and four concept models.

At the start of 2016, Honda launched a teaser for its upcoming Navi two-wheeler, claiming it will ‘change the way India will play on two wheels’. The Navi, which defines ‘New Additional Value for India,’ is expected to be the brand-new scooter that Honda will unveil at the expo, and will be the prime focus at their stall. The PCX 150 is another moto-scooter from Honda that we could be displayed at the expo, featuring a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 150cc motor.

Visitors will also be able to witness the EV-Cub Concept (a short-distance environmentally friendly personal commuter) and Neowing (a three-wheeled hybrid wonder which expresses the new endeavors of Honda), which were first showcased at the Tokyo Motor Show 2015.

For racing buffs, the RC 213V will be a major attraction, giving Indian biking enthusiasts the chance to mount and experience the race bike.

The CRF 1000L Africa Twin adventure tourer is also expected to be showcased by Honda at the expo. The bike, which is fit for the Dakar rally, packs in a dual-clutch automatic transmission system equipped variant as well. The tech details of the African Twin were first revealed in July last year.

Further, Honda’s brand ambassadors, actors Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu are expected to pull the crowds with their presence.

Moreover, the company is set to expand its ‘Make in India’ resolve by announcing its next global superbike offering at the event.

Apart from showcasing bikes, Honda will also promote road safety at its outdoor area through both theory (road safety education to spread healthy road sense) and practical approach. The company is however yet to reveal details of two more models that are to be showcased at the expo.
