HMSI opens pre-owned two-wheeler outlet in Secunderabad
The opening of the new outlet makes Honda the first and so far only OEM to enter the fragmented and unstructured pre-owned two-wheeler market in India.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has inaugurated its pre-owned outlet ‘Best Deal’ at Fortune Honda in Rani Ganj, Secunderabad, Telangana.
Honda is so far the only OEM to enter the fragmented and unstructured pre-owned two-wheeler market in India.
The latest Honda channel will allow customers to exchange their old two-wheeler for a new or certified pre-owned Honda two-wheeler apart from offering additional benefits like two free services, a 6-month warranty and after-sales support.

Commenting on the new development, YS Guleria, senior VP (Sales & Marketing), HMSI said, “We have observed that on an average, the replacement cycle for two-wheelers has reduced significantly over the last decade. With changing customer patterns we see immense future potential in pre-owned two-wheeler sector. We shall further be increasing the network of ‘Best Deal’ outlets to expand the reach of this value added dealer facility from Honda.”
The ‘Best Deal’ outlet in Secuderabad is Honda’s 84th outlet in India and third in the state of Telangana.
In January last year, HMSI had tied up with Shriram Automall India to further penetrate the market of second-hand two-wheelers in the country, which is pegged at 50 percent of new two-wheeler sales.
