Hero Moto’s February sales drop 32 percent

For the year to date, total sales were 44,93,996 units as against 52,41,581 units,  a fall of 14  percent.

Hero MotoCorp sold 358,254 units including exports in February 2022. This tally comprised 3,38,454 units of motorcycles and 19,800 scooters.

The company sold 5,05,467 units in the year-earlier month comprising 463,723 units for bikes and 41,744 scooters. Sales in this month were down 32 percent as compared to the year-earlier month. For February 2022, domestic sales alone were 3,31,462 units and exports were 26,792 units. Year-earlier month figures were 4,84,433 units and exports were 21,034 units.

The company’s February sales in the domestic sales were 32 percent less than year-earlier month sales. Exports in this month at 26,792 units over 21,034 units in the year-earlier period. For the year to date, total sales were 44,93,996 units as against 52,41,581 units,  a fall of 14  percent.

Two-wheelers have been affected by rising fuel prices and insurance costs, as well the impact of the pandemic which has led to job losses in the smaller towns and cities.
