Talking to Autocar Professional on the sidelines of a press conference held in Bangalore on Wednesday, Ashok Bhasin, head of sales, marketing and customer care, Hero MotoCorp, said the Maestro Edge has received a tremendous response from buyers in India. “As of now, we are selling the Maestro Edge in North India. This scooter will be available pan-India soon. We have launched this scooter in South India too along with our 110cc scooter Duet (on October 28).

He said the Maestro Edge will be available in Karnataka state starting from mid-November. According to Bhasin, the Maestro Edge’s features are appealing to buyers. These include include key with e-code, mobile charging point, remote seat opening, remote fuel-lid opening, pass switch, service due indicator, side stand indicator, tubeless tyres and twin parking lamps. Other highlights include an integrated braking system, telescopic front suspension and bigger 12-inch front wheels for riding comfort and improved stability.
